This is a tintype of my 3rd Great Uncle, George Washington Clevenger (1843-1915). A Quaker, he never married, spent the remaining decades of his life living with his brother (my 2nd Great Grandfather) and his family at the farm in Frederick County, VA. He's buried, along with most of his relatives, at the Hopewell Friends Burial Ground in Clearbrook, VA.
