Word has been received by relatives of Winchester and Frederick county of the death of Dr. Austin F. Robinson, general practitioner in Baltimore since 1903 and a member of the staff of Union Memorial Hospital, that city which occurred yesterday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson K. Levering, Jr., in Ruxton, Md.
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the chapel of University Baptist Church, Baltimore, where Dr. Robinson was a deacon. The body is being taken to Wilmington, Ohio, for interment.
Among those from here attending the funeral services in Baltimore were Mrs. James L. Robinson, Miss Mamie Robinson, Mrs. Carrie A. Cochran and Misses Helen and Mary Gail Cather.
Dr. Robinson, who had been unable to practice since last fall because of illness, was 68 years of age. He was a native of Waterford, Loudoun county, Va., but much of his younger life was spent in the vicinity of Clearbrook, this county.
Family Connections.
He was a son of the late William and Sophie Clevenger Robinson. The late Mrs. Joseph Jolliffe, of the county, was a sister. Charles Robinson, of Newport News, Va., is a brother.
He attended a private school in Winchester, and also taught for a time in a high school in this state. He earned his medical degree at the old Southern Homeopathic Medical College in Baltimore, and continued his studies in the University of Berlin. He returned to this country in 1903 and took up active practice in Baltimore.
His immediate family consists of his widow, who was formerly Miss Tacy Walker, of Wilmington, O., and his daughter, Mrs. Wilson K. Levering, Jr. Miss Tacy Ann Levering, also of Ruxton,
Md., is his granddaughter.
