Died Today;
Rites Wednesday
Miss Bertha B. Clevenger, 68, died at 7:50 this morning at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the daughter of the late Charles E. Clevenger and Susan Childs Clevenger, both of Frederick county.
Miss Clevenger was a life long member of the Hopewell Friends Church at Clearbrook, and lived at the old home place on the old Charles Town road near Stephenson.
Surviving are two brothers: Carroll C. Clevenger of Stephenson and Drury D. Clevenger, Winchester. Also three nieces and nephews: Mrs. Billy Bierer of Winchester, Mrs. J. L. McCormas, of Baltimore, and C. Stanley Clevenger of Washington, D. C.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock from Omps Funeral Home. Miss Grace Clevenger will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery at Clearbrook.
The family requests that no flowers be sent.
