Curtis J. Wilson
MAURERTOWN - Curtis J. Wilson, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, W.Va. Mr. Wilson was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Leesburg, son of William Curtis Wilson and Willa Janney Wilson.
He studied at the University of Alaska from 1949 to 1952 and was self-employed as a dairy farmer. He served 12 years with the military, in the Army and with the National Guard. He was a member of Purcellville Baptist Church and was a lifelong member of the NRA.
Surviving are two sons, Robert P. Wilson of Sugarhill, Ga., and William M. Wilson of Charleston; a daughter, Diane L. Sammet of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two brothers, Willard Janney Wilson of Cockeysville, Md. and Neil Robinson Wilson of Annandale; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services were private.Memorials may be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1143 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar, W.Va. 25064.

Ruth Simpson Wilson
MAURERTOWN - Ruth Simpson Wilson, 64, Purcellville, died Feb. 6. Born Sept. 12, 1928 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert Clark and Ruth Heskett Simpson.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Paige Wilson of Purcellville and William Marsh Wilson of Charleston, W. Va., one daughter, Diane Lee Sammet of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four brothers, Robert C. Simpson of McLean, James F. Simpson of Chase City, Lynn A. Simpson of Vienna and Richard Simpson of Purcellville; four sisters, Louise Moore of Winchester, Mary Potts of Round Hill, and Barbara Lowry and Marian Fleming, both of Lovettsville.
Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Lovettsville.
