Phineas L. Robinson Dies in Ozark
County, Missouri.
__________
After wrestling from the fertile lands of Missouri a comfortable fortune and becoming prominent as an export in
mineral lands, Mr. Phineas L. Robinson, a native of this county, met death in the form of pneumonia, after a short illness on last Monday, in the far off county of Ozark, Missouri.
Deceased was the son of the late Archibald Robinson of this county, and was born about 58 years ago. In 1880 he
married Miss Kate Pelter, of Gainesboro, this county, and together they went West, where they have since resided. With the vigor and resolution which have characterized the young men of Frederick county, who have gone west, Mr.
Robinson bravely faced the odds before him, and ably seconded by his industrious wife, accomplished success, where less hardy spirits would have failed.
He soon became a man of prominence in his county and at the time of his death had amassed a comfortable allowance of
this world's goods. He is survived by a widow and six children. Joseph, Alexander, and James L. Robinson, of this county, are brothers, and Mr. Rufus Robinson and Mrs. Etta Manuel, of this city, are cousins of the deceased.
