|Prominent Farmer Dies|
Of Sudden Heart Attack;
To Be Buried Here.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon for Charles William Powers, 61, prominent Warren County farmer, who died suddenly Friday in his home at Nineveh.
Death was the result of a heart attack, Mr. Powers having suffered a slight attack on Thursday which confined him to his bed. He was born at White Post on May 9, 1882, a son of the late William F. Powers and Mrs. Anna Carbaugh Powers.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Irene Robinson; a daughter, Mrs. Ray S. Johns of Nineveh, and three brothers and a sister: Dr. E. B. Powers, Vaucluse; Harry P. Powers, Bayard, Va.; R. M. Powers, Front Royal, Va.; and Miss Mary F. Powers, of Riverton.
The final rites will be held at the late home, conducted by the Rev. O. W. Lynch of White Post assisted by the Rev. H. Clark Curry of Front Royal. Interment will be at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Winchester.
Pallbearers will be Frank Simpson, Hubert McKay, Miller Jett, Mark Mills, Eugene McCauley and George R. Green. The body is to remain at Omps Funeral Home until 11:30 tomorrow.
