Edward Lee Robinson, Sr., age 80 of Manassas, VA died at Novant Health Prince William Medical Center on Friday, November 7, 2014.
Edward was the son of the late Hazel N. Starliper and Joseph Edward Robinson.
He was employed at Atlantic Research Corp. in Gainesville, VA for 35 years. He retired as plant manager of the Orange County Facility in 1992. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a part of the Methodist Men; a life member of Park West Lions Club; a member of Telephone Pioneer Organization and he loved sports, reading, playing golf and spending time with his family. He was a gentle, kind, soft spoken man respected by his peers and the peers of his children and their families. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Marie H. Robinson; his children Anna Marie Robinson, Edward Lee Robinson, Jr and Ronald Eric Robinson and wife Lara; his siblings Jack A. Robinson and wife Louise, Carolyn Sue Hott and husband Jay and JoAnna Grayson and husband Jimmy all of Winchester, VA; his grandchildren Matthew Green, Melissa Green, Courtney Robinson and Rebekah Hardwick and by one great grandchild Zyion Lee.
The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Rudy Tucker officiating. Interment Stonewall Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made to Park West Lions Club Building Fund.

Marie Hoover Robinson

Marie Hoover Robinson, age 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, VA. She was born on February 22, 1936, to the late Leoma Marie Stotler and Clyde Sylvester Hoover.
Marie was married to the late Edward Lee Robinson, Sr. She worked as an Administrative Assistant before eventually retiring from Verizon. She was very active in the local Lions Clubs and loved it! What a hairdo and a smile!! Love you Momma!!!
She is survived by her three children: Anna Marie Robinson, Edward Lee (Mary Lou) Robinson, Jr., and Ronald Eric (Lara) Robinson; her four grandchildren: Matthew Green, Melissa Hawkins, Courtney Robinson, and Rebekah Ann Hardwick; her five great-grandchildren: Hazel Hawkins, Emmy-Rose Hawkins, Zaiden Lee, Zyion Lee, and Miles Compton; her sister: Pat Bryant; her brother: Buddy Hoover; as well as many wonderful in-law family members.
Family and friends will gather for a Visitation on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 11:00am-12:00 PM at Grace United Methodist Church, 9750 Wellington Rd., Manassas, VA 20110. Funeral Services will then be held at 12:00 Noon. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Hwy., Manassas, VA 20109.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Grace United Methodist Church, 9750 Wellington Rd., Manassas, VA 20110.
