Georgia Catherine Campbell
1915 - 2006
     Georgia Catherine Campbell, 91, of Falling Waters, West Virginia, died Monday, July 10, 2006 in Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Campbell was born April 21, 1915 in Whitacre, Virginia the daughter of the late George Andrew Jackson Omps and Mary Catherine Puffinberger Omps.
     Mrs. Campbell was a Homemaker and assisted her husband in his ministry. She was a member of Marlowe Assembly of God, in Falling Waters, West Virginia. Her husband, Reverend Ray Russell Campbell, whom she married on June 29, 1946 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, preceded her in death on September 30, 1993.
     Surviving are her children, Mary Ann Kerns of Bloomery, West Virginia, Kenneth Campbell of Laurel, Maryland, Patricia Foltz, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Ray Campbell, Jr., of Fairmont, West Virginia, Ruth Gasper of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Deloris Seeders of Aiken, South Carolina, Rebecca Dahlstrom, of Riverside, Rhode Island; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and sixteen great-great-grandchildren. Six sisters, Minnie Cupp, Nelia Brenner, Mamie Littlefield, Lottie Lee Sencindiver, Vallie Mauzy, Abbie Omps, and one brother, Emmitt Omps, preceded her in death.
     A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Pastor James Lloyd and Pastor Joel Cress officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal Virginia. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
