HAROLD D. KIRKSEY
HOOKER, Okla. -- Harold Dewayne Kirksey, 61, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born Feb. 22, 1941, to Ezra Thomas and Bertie Lorene (Daring) Kirksey in Springfield, Mo.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed with BF Goodrich in Miami, Okla., until his retirement in 1989. Following his retirement, he moved to Hooker, where he had been a resident since.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Janet, of the home; one son, Chris Kirksey, Grove, Okla.; six daughters, Patricia Lee Fason, California, Mary Ann Nichols, Broken Arrow, Okla., Donna Sue March, Columbia, Mo., Pamela Jean Washington, Garden City, Karen Lee Hodges, Kansas City, Mo., and Nichole Janine Cook, Laverne, Okla.; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil Kirksey, Wagoner, Okla., and Ezra Thomas Kirksey Jr., Miami, Okla.; and one sister, Jenelle Pittman, Miami, Okla.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Hooker with the Rev. Ron Mimms presiding.
Burial will be at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker.
