Richard "Ricky" Allen McKay, 63, of Winchester, Virginia, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Winchester, Virginia.
Mr. McKay was born October 10, 1951, in Washington, DC, son of the late William Buck McKay and Mary E. Jones McKay.
He had worked at NW Works in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving are his step-mother, Lula B. McKay of Winchester, VA; four brothers, Jeff W. Smith of Winchester, VA, Jay C. Keller of Leesburg, VA, Matthew S. McKay and his wife, Sharon L., of Winchester, VA and Perry B. McKay and his wife, Amy P., of Winchester, VA; a sister, Shannon R. McKay of Winchester, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
His brother, William "Bill" McKay, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 P. M. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA. Burial will be private at a later date in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, VA.
