Winston McKay
     Mr. Winston L. McKay, 88, of Yale Drive, Winchester, died Thursday, October 17, 2002, in a local nursing facility.
     Mr. McKay was born on May 9, 1914, in Frederick County, VA, the son of the late Lehew and Nannie Heflybower McKay. He was President of Grocers Wholesale and former owner of The Food Center on Loudoun Street for many years. He was a long-time member of the Round Hill United Methodist Church and served as the Treasurer for 54 years.
     Mr. McKay married the former Mary Robinson on April 19, 1939, in Winchester. Mrs. McKay preceded him in death on May 27, 1999.
     He is survived by two sons, Archie L. McKay and Frederick H. McKay both of Winchester; one foster daughter, Agnes L. Compton of Winchester; two sisters, Ella M. Corso of Inwood, WV, Keightley M. Vanscoy of Winchester; one brother, Kenneth T. McKay of Bunker Hill, WV; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
     A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday at Omps Funeral Home - Amherst Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Patrick and Rev. Anthony Wadsworth officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
     Pallbearers will be Michael L. McKay, Robert S. McKay, Jeffrey A. McKay, Edward H. McKay, John W. McKay, Jackson A. Robinson, Edward L. Robinson and L. Richard Clark.
     The family will receive friends at Omps Funeral Home - Amherst Chapel on Friday evening from 7-9 P.M.
     Memorial contributions may be made to Round Hill United Methodist Church, 2992 Northwestern Pike, Winchester, VA 22602.

MARY R. McKAY
     Mary Robinson McKay, age 87, of 203 Yale Drive, Winchester, Virginia died Thursday, May 27, 1999 in the Winchester Medical Center.
     Mrs. McKay was born on August 27, 1911 in Frederick County, VA, the daughter of the late Archie S. and Eva M. Ferguson Robinson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Round Hill United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was a charter member of the Round Hill United Methodist Women. Mrs. McKay and her husband owned and operated The Food Center on Loudoun Street for many years.
     Mrs. McKay married Winston L. McKay on April 19, 1939 in Winchester, Virginia.
     Surviving with her husband are two sons, Archie L. McKay and Frederick H. McKay, both of Winchester, VA; a foster daughter, Agnes L. Compton of Winchester, VA; five grandchildren; two foster grandchildren and two foster great-grandchildren.
     A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home with Reverend Anthony Wadsworth officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery.      Pallbearers will be Michael L. McKay, Robert S. McKay, Jeffrey A. McKay, Edward H. McKay, John W. McKay, Jackson A. Robinson and Edward L. Robinson.
     The family will receive friends at Omps Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

   Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Robinson, of Wadesville, Va., announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Mary K. Robinson, to Mr. Winston L. McKay, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. McKay, also of Wadesville. The ceremony took place in Winchester on Wednesday, April 19.
("Mary K." should read as "Mary L.")
