Library Room Dedicated

The Warren Heritage Society formally dedicated a room at the Samuels Library for use in historical and technical research in a ceremony Saturday at 4 p.m. Branson McKay of Boston, Mass., and members of the McKay family also presented at the same time a 56- volume family history to the library much of which deals with Warren County and its environs. Among those present were, foreground, left to right, seated, Dr. S. Gordden Link, president of the Heritage Society, and McKay; standing, Alvin R. L. Dohme, immediate past president of the Society, Front Royal Mayor William A. Lillard, and the Rev. Samuel Espinosa who delivered an invocation at the ceremony.

McKay Clan Plans
Annual Reunion

     The McKay Clan reunion will be held on Sunday, August 19 at the Hy-Wy Restaurant here from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
     After dinner which begins at 1 p.m. there will be some brief talks and officers will be elected for the coming year.
     At 4 p.m. on August 18 there will be a ceremony at Samuels Library where the late Hunter McKay's genealogical collection will be donated to the library. Participating in the ceremony will be Gary Graham, librarian; Alvin Dohme, past president of the Warren Heritage Society and Clan and civic leaders.
