Reunion

      The McKay reunion was held July 27 at the Front Royal recreational park with forty persons present. Mrs. William P. McKay, who has recently had a book. "Cobwebs In The Sky" published. entertained the group.
     The Hon. John W. Rust gave a talk on the origin and history of the McKay family. He was also instrumental in having a monument erected on the old Robert McKay estate at Cedarville, marking the early settlement of the McKays.
     The last Wednesday in August 1950 has been set for the next reunion. Anyone who can supply Information relating to the McKay family or desiring information contact Mrs. Isabelle McKay Brockman, 2369 N. Quincy St., Arlington.

McKay Reunion Held
In Front Royal Park

     The McKay Reunion was held July 27th at the Front Royal Recreational Park. Forty persons were present to enjoy the picnic lunch and the entertainment ably presented by Mrs. William P. McKay, for which all extended their thanks. Her book "Cobwebs in the Sky," that has recently been published, is good reading.
     The Hon. John W. Rust gave an interesting talk on the origin and history of the McKay family. He was also instrumental in having a marker erected on the Old Robert McKay estate at Cedarville, Virginia, marking the early settlement of the McKays.
     The last Wednesday in August, 1950 was set for the next reunion at the same place. It is hoped all will make plans to attend. Anyone reading this article desiring further information about the Reunion can obtain it from Mrs. Isabelle McKay Brockman, 2369 North Quincy St., Arlington, Virginia, or if they have news of interest relating to the McKays, pass it on to her so it can be put into the records.

MCKAY REUNION

     The McKay Reunion will be held Wednesday, July 27th at the Front Royal Recreation Park. Invitations are extended to the McKays and their friends. A basket picnic lunch will be held.
