Collett Family Picnic
Forty members of the Collett family enjoyed a picnic dinner, Sunday, in the woods where the Collett-McKay picnic is annually held in August.
Those enjoying this happy occasion were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Clapper, Sr., and Mrs. Charles Clapper, Jr., of Dayton; Mrs. Anne Collett, Miss Maggie Collett, of Xenia; Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Collett and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Stan- field and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nickerson, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Nickerson and baby; Mr. and Mrs. Weldon McKay, Rev. and Mrs. Edward Inwood, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Inwood and family, Mrs. Abbie Haydock, Volcah Hackney, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hackney, Paul Graham, Mr. and Mrs. James Collett and son, Thomas Collett.

Collett-McKay Picnic To Be Held Saturday

More than 300 persons are expected to attend the 67th annual Collett-McKay picnic at the picnic grounds, near New Burlington, Saturday.
The outing always is held the second Saturday in August and attracts members of the two families from many parts of the country. There is no program and no election of officers and the day is spent in visiting. Basket dinner will be served at noon.
The picnic is an all-day affair.
