COLLETT-M'KAY
PICNIC HELD

----------

An enviable record of having attended the Collett-McKay picnic for 57 times without missing one of the occasions was not broken by E. S. Collett, B. Y. Collett, H. W. Collett and Mary Francis McKay, when they attended the annual picnic held on the Aunt Harriet Collett farm, near Burlington, Saturday.
The usual renewal of family ties and enjoyable social time was entered into by all those present. Few faces were missing on this happy occasion. From far and near they came to attend the picnic. Rain, which in the 57 years has not stopped the ardor of the pic nickers failed to make inroads on this occasion and after a few minutes shower passed over allowing the festivities to continue until late in the evening.
From a distance those that came to attend the picnic were; E. N. Collett and daughter, Helen, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Edith Smith, Denver, Colo.; Bessie McCune, Witchita, Kan.; James Collett, Van Wert.
