 Collett-McKay Picnic
The 53rd annual Collett-McKay picnic, a reunion of two of the pioneer families of the county, was held as usual in the sugar grove on the Dan Collett farm which is the old Collett homestead, Saturday. There were over 200 registered, which is somewhat below the number that attended the first picnic, about 500 members being present at that time. Members of the family look forward to the occasion from year to year and it is stated that the meeting Saturday was one of the most enjoyable ever held.
