THE forty-fifth annual reunion of Collett and McKay families was held Saturday, with about three hundred persons present. The first reunion was held in 1866 and every year since the gathering has been in the same grove and always on the second Saturday in August, and never has rain prevented nor broken up the picnic. Thirty-five persons attended the first reunion, and of these B. Y. Collett, of near Harveysburg; Frank Collett, of New Burlington, and E. S. Collett, of Wilmington, have been present at every reunion since.
