COLLETT-MCKAY

----------

Reunion Is Held Near New Burlington Monday.

----------

The Collett-McKay families held their forty-first annual reunion last Monday on the old D. M. Collett farm near New Burlington. Three hundred and fifty descendants of the two pioneers Joshua Collett and Daniel McKay, were present with well filled baskets and there was a great family dinner in the woods. There was no program, the day being given up to informal sociability and the visiting of every nook and crannie that had a family interest.
The only Lebanonites in attendance were the family of Joshua Collett and their guest, Miss Amy Scott, of Milford.

THE forty-first annual reunion or picnic, of the Colletts and McKays was held Saturday. It was the first reunion of its kind in this section of the country, it has always been held in the same grove, always on the second Saturday in August and in the forty-one years rain has never fallen in sufficient quantity to interfere. A few members of the families have attended every reunion.
