     The reunion and picnic of the Colletts and McKays Saturday was the fortieth annual consecutive gathering of those two families. The Collett-McKay picnic was the first family reunion on a large scale ever held in this county, but now there are many of them. This reunion, too, has always been held in the same place and in the forty years rain has interfered with the assembly but twice. Several members of the families have been present on every occasion.

     THE date of the Collett-McKay picnic has been fixed for Saturday, August 11, at the usual place.
