Collett-McKay Picnic

     The Collett-McKay picnic, which took place last Saturday was as usual a booming success in all its details. While appreciative of the oft-renewed invitation to be present at these happy annual family reunions, we regret that circumstances have always prevented our attendance.

     A large crowd attended the Collett-McKay reunion Saturday and enjoyed meeting their old friends and relatives once more.

     The Vandervoort family reunion occurs August 16, and the Ellis reunion on Augunt 30.
     The Collett-McKay picnic, for the past thirty-five years one of the well-known events, was, as usual, well attended.
     Judge and Mrs. W. W. Savage and children have returned from a trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas.
     Hon. C. A. Bosworth and family, of Cincinnati, are in Wilmington.
     Mrs. C. N. Lindley, of New York, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Denver.
     Mrs. Simon Goodman is visiting in Buffalo, New York.
     Geo. L Dabe was united in marriage last week to Miss Susie Moss, of Washington C. H.
     Mrs. Sam Cook and aon Levi are guests of Mrs. M. J. Collett.
     Mrs. Kate Cowen and daughter, Miss Mary, of Batavia, are guests at the Browning home.
     Mrs. Francis Martin and children, of Chattanooga, are guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Linton.
     Mrs. Nora White Penny of Oswego, N. Y., is the guest of Wilmington relatives.
     Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Holladay entertained handsomely at a breakfast Tuesday.

     THE annual Collett-McKay reunion and picnic will be held next Saturday at the usual place, the farm of D. M. Collett, near Harveysburg.
