There were over 400 guests at the Collett-McKay picnic, near New Burlington, Clinton county, on Saturday the 14th inst., and they had a perfect day. They always have perfect dinners too, as we can testify from personal inspection and the most gratifying participation. They have them every August.

 A GREAT REUNION.
__________
Where Over Five Hundred Colletts and McKays Gathered to Take Their Twenty-ninth Annual Dinner.
__________
Dr. and Mrs. D. H. Collett, of High street, came home yesterday from attending a family reunion of the Doctor's relatives at New Burlington, situ ated about half way between Xenia and Wilmington.
For many years past the family of Collett and McKay have held these annual reunions the second Saturday in August, that of this year being the twenty-ninth affair of the kind.
On Saturday last, as is the custom, a big dinner was served under the shade of the trees in a beautiful grove near the old homestead, after which the family register was produced, which was signed by no less than five hundred relatives.
The occasion was in every way a successful and felicitous one, many of the big connection whose homes were not in the neighborhood remaining over Sunday.
