     THE annual Collett-McKay reunion on last Saturday was largely attended, and as usual an enjoyable time was had by all present.

     Baron Nordenskjold is planning an expedition to the South Pole.
     The noted Collett-McKay picnic takes place in Clinton county Aug. 9.
     The Census war grows fiercer between Minneapolis and St. Paul as the days go by.
     The reunion of the 2d Ohio Heavy Artillery will take place at Bellefontaine Aug. 8.
     They were betting on Ben LeFever over at Eaton previous to the Greenville convention.
     The Kings Mill explosion was distinctly felt on Weed Patch Hill, Brown county, Ind., 100 miles away.
