ABOUT five hundred persons attended the Collett-McKay reunion last Saturday, and while the number present was much smaller than on former occasions, still the ones who were there had an enjoyable time. The weather was perfect for such an affair, the dinner, as usual, was of the highest order, and altogether it was a splendid event. No speech-making is allowed at these reunions, but speeches were not needed to entertain the crowd and all thoroughly enjoyed the picnic.
The Collett-McKay picnic held last Saturday near New Burlington, was one of the largest and most enjoyable held this season, about five hundred being in attendance.
The Collett-McKay reunion will take place to-morrow near New Burlington.
THE annual Collett-McKay picnic and reunion is to be held on Saturday next at the usual place on the farm of D. M. Collett, in the western edge of the county.
