The Collett & McKay Picnic.

We neglected to state, last week, that the Collett and McKay picnic, will take place, this year, at the old locality, near New Burlington, on Saturday, the 9th inst. We have no doubt, that the reunion of these excellent families will be both pleasant and profitable. A large gathering of relations, from far and near, are expected to be present.

We are indebted to D. M. Collett, Esq., for an invitation to attend the well-known Collett and McKay Pic-Nic, to be held in the grove of Mr. Collett, on the pike leading from Gurneyville to New Burlington, on Saturday, the 9th day of August, proximo. This annual festival is looked forward to with a great deal of interest by the numerous connections of the Colletts and McKays, and any and every one connected with either branch of the family are expected to be present on this occasion. Relatives from Virginia and different points west are expected and the day no doubt will be an enjoyable one to all concerned.
