There is a discrepancy in the dates of her mother's death listed and Sarah's birth year written on her tombstone. It seems to show her mother, Jane died three years before Sarah's birth year on her stone which would normally make such a connection impossible. All documents presented state that Sarah is the daughter of John B. Henderson and Jane C. Henderson as listed here. This means that one or both dates are wrong. Either her mother was alive in 1840 to give birth to Sarah or Sarah had three years shaved off of her age and she was actually born in 1837. I need to see census documents on John B. Henderson from 1840 and 1850 to help solve this mystery.
