According to Hopewell Friends History & Hinshaws Quaker records, William Wickersham & wife Mary, & dau. Lydia were "recieved on a certificate from" Warrington MM dated 14 3mo 1772 into Hopewell MM on 4 5mo 1772. Also, Mary Wickersham & young son, Jonathan were "recieved by request" into Hopewell MM on 4 9mo 1780. Also, William was disowned for "disunity" by Hopewell MM on 5 1mo 1784. Also, a William Wickersham was disowned (no reason given) by Hopewell MM on 2 2mo 1784, and a William Wickersham was "complained of" for being "in the practice of attending musters" and was disowned by Hopewell MM on 1 8mo 1808. Other Wickershams appear in the index of Hopewell Friends History and in Hinshaw's Quaker records but there isn't enough evidence to determine if any of these are children of Mary & William.

  Rebecca, married: 8 5mo 1793; Thomas Dunn, According to Wilmer Kerns, Rebecca was disowned by Hopewell MM on 7 4mo 1794. No reason was given.
• Elizabeth, born: ca. 1778;
  Elizabeth, married: 24 4mo 1800; David Benegar, According to Wilmer Kerns, Elizabeth was disowned by Hopewell MM on 1 9mo 1800 for "marrying contrary to discipline".
• Mary,
  Mary, married: 2 4mo 1801; William Alloway, According to Wilmer Kerns, Mary was disowned by Hopewell MM on 7 12mo 1801 for "marrying contrary to discipline".

Also, Jonathan Wickersham (minor) was "recieved on a certificate from" Crooked Run MM into Hopewell MM on 3 2mo 1794. Also, Jonathan & wife Jane (form Beeson) were "reported married contrary to discipline" and were disowned by Hopewell MM on 7 1mo 1805 (Hopewell Friends has 3 6mo).
