Va.; From Hopewell Friends History, p. 279 we find a transcribed copy of their marriage certificate: ![]() According to Immigration of the Irish Quakers Isaac removed from Warrington MM to Fairfax MM Loudoun Co. Va. around 1765. According to Hopewell Friends History & Hinshaw's Quaker records Isaac was "recieved on a certificate from" Fairfax MM on 3 8mo 1767 into Hopewell MM (under "Tuetion" of James Steer). According to Hopewell Friends History, Isaac was taken "under care" by Hopewell MM for Strong Drink (drinking to excess). He gave satisfaction for his offense on 10 9mo 1812. Also from Hinshaw's records & Hopewell Friends, Isaac and his wife along with minor children, Isaac, John, Grace, Eliza & Rachel were "granted a certificate to" Short Creek MM, Ohio on 5 1mo 1815 from Hopewell MM. According to Hopewell Friends History, a Sarah (Nevitt) Jones was disowned by Hopewell MM on 2 11mo 1807 for being "married contrary to discipline". Issue: Nevitt
