According to Hinshaw's Quaker records Charles M. Pidgeon was "condemned for marrying contrary to discipline" on 4 7mo 1889 by Hopewell MM (Katie was a non-member). Also from Hinshaw's records Charles was "granted a certificate to" Alexandria MM on 10 3mo 1898 from Hopewell MM.

Their P.O. in 1890 was Sandy Spring, Md.

Katie's tombstone has this inscription on it. "Laid to rest on her 79th birthday."
