VA; Dau. of John Fenton & Ruth Wright; Ruth Wright is the dau. of Isaac Wright and Sidney Rogers. John Fenton is the son of Enoch Fenton and Hannah Fenimore. From Hopewell Friends History, p. 350 we find a transcribed copy of their marriage certificate: ![]() According to Hinshaw's Quaker records and Hopewell Friends History an Abel Jackson was "granted a certificate to" Salem MM on 1 2mo 1808 from Hopewell MM, and also an Abel Jackson was recieved into Hopewell MM on 9 4mo 1812 on a certificate from Fairfax MM dated 29 1mo 1812. Also, a Joseph, Abel, & Jonathan Jackson were disowned for joining the Separatists on 3 10mo 1838 by Hopewell MM. All chn. of above were born in Frederick Co. VA Issue: Jackson
