Annie, married: 15 2mo 1864; Jonah Lupton Rees, born: 1 4mo 1837; Berkeley Co. VA (now WV); died: 1 4mo 1915; buried: Winchester, Va.; Son of Jacob Rees & Thomasin M. Lupton; 

Jonah is a descendant of Valentine Hollingsworth.  His line will be traced later.

According to Hinshaw's Quaker records, Annie was first "reported married contrary to discipline" on 10 3mo 1864 by Hopewell MM. They were both "condemned for marrying contrary to discipline" on 5 5mo 1864 by Hopewell MM. Also from Hinshaw's records & Hopewell Friends, Jonah L. & wife Annie J. & minor ch., Mary Alice, Annie Jackson, & Samuel David were "granted a certificate to Cincinatti MM, Ohio on 5 3mo 1874 from Hopewell MM. They were living in New York, N.Y. when the Steer Genealogy was printed. From Hinshaw's records is recorded that Jonah L. & wife Annie J. were "recieved on a certificate from" New York MM dated 10 12mo 1898 into Hopewell MM on 5 1mo 1899. Jonah was "co" of Centre PM on 4 10mo 1900.
