According to Hinshaw's Quaker records James L. was "condemned for marrying contrary to discipline" on 6 10mo 1881 by Hopewell MM. Also, from Hinshaw's records Sallie G. & minor chn. Ray, Mabel, & Clarence were "recieved by request" into Hopewell MM on 10 11mo 1892.

Sallie was involved in the compilation of Hopewell Friends History.
