According to Hinshaw's Quaker records and Hopewell Friends History, Lydia Ann was "recieved on a certificate from" Fairfax, MM dated 15 11mo 1837 into Hopewell MM on 7 12mo 1837. Archibald was "recieved by request" into Hopewell MM on 5 7mo 1838. Their sons Joseph S., & Andrew A., were "recieved by request" into Hopewell MM on 5 8mo 1841. Also from Hinshaw's records, Archibald, along with others, was appointed an elder at Hopewell MM on 4 4mo 1878.
