Va.; From Hopewell Friends History, p. 338 we find a transcribed copy of their marriage certificate: ![]() According to Hinshaw's Quaker records & Hopewell Friends History, Leah & her daughter Sarah Anne Lupton (from 1st marriage) were "granted a certificate to" Fairfax MM on 4 6mo 1810 from Hopewell MM. Also, Isaac E., James, William, & Louisa Steer were disowned for "joining the Separatists" "some time since" on 7 3mo 1839 by Hopewell MM. Unknown as to who the James could be. William could be Isaac & Leah's son. Also, according to Bronwen Souders Isaac was appointed an Elder at Fairfax MM on 15 1mo 1840. Issue: Steer
