Jared Williams and Mary Harriett CARSON were named the parents of Martha R. CARSON in her marriage record to J. William DANNER, son of Jacob and Mary DANNER.

In Simon CARSON, Sr.'s estate's division of slaves which was divided into nine portions, Rebecca CARSON, the only child of Jared W. CARSON, deceased, received Ellen, value $900 and Selah, value $350.

Named as his daughter: Martha Rebecca CARSON, if she dies without issue, then that part of his estte devised to him from his late wife, not named, to go to his borther-in-law, John W. McKAY.
The rest of the property to go to his sister, Mrs. Jane R. WELLS and brother, James H. CARSON.
Named as his brother: James H. CARSON to be the guardian of his daughter, Martha Rebecca CARSON.
Named as his slaves: Jones; John; Stephen; and Milley to be freed at the age of 21 years old and to have $25 for a "freedom suit". Also, stated that "two Negro children for which I have contracts" they may be hired out like the others freed at the age of 21 years.
