Asa McKay is listed on 1810, 1820, 1830 Va census, not listed for 1840 either died or removed to parts unknown. Asa McKay is not on Frederick Co. VA tax list for 1833, which means he either moved with his children 1832 or he died. We know that he had a daughter named Edith,the source being a gift of land to her. The others listed below are based only on the above census.
