From Hopewell Friends History, p. 403 we find a transcribed copy of their marriage certificate:

Mary's estate settlement found will book 15 p,186-90. See Vol. 14 for family history of the Haines family. There is a family tradition that the three sons of Andrew McKay, Jacob, Enos Moses, weighted over 300 pounds a piece. We have land deeds and estate papers dealing with this couple. He signed deeds as Jacob McKay Jr. 2nd.

  Haines, married: 29 5mo 1828; Frederick Co. VA; Sally McKay, They requested a certificate to remove to Miami MM Ohio from Hopewell MM Virginia 3 6mo 1823, and they were received by Miami MM Ohio on 28 1mo 1824. They sold their VA lands by 1833 and removed to OH. On their marriage bond (which I have) named her father as John McKay. If they had children this is a double line of the same Mackay/Mckay (Dee Ann Buck).

• Madison, born: ca. l807; Frederick Co. VA; died: Galena, Daviss Co. IL;

• Amos H., born: ca. l812; Frederick Co. VA; died: 4mo 1890; Delaware Co. IA;
  Amos, married: 3 7mo 1834; Frederick Co. VA; Mary Jane Tanquary, No issue. I have four letters of his mailed to his Miller nieces.
