Abraham's Delight was built for Isaac by Simon Taylor and named after the tract of land it was on which was first owned by his father in which he stated "it was a delight to behold". Isaac became a minister when about 21 years of age, and lived near Hopewell Monthly Meeting, Va., until 1787, when he moved to Fairfax, Va. A Memorial of him, printed in 1787, says: "He died 9th month 10th, 1759, age 37 years." See Appendix 1.
