This tabulated genealogy list 345 known descendants of this man. Dee Ann (Shipp) Buck writes: I am not aware if the reader can buy a published book about the Garwood family of New Jersey. The L.D.S. #1036166 "Holloway Families by Olin E. Holloway" has some information about some Garwoods who married into that family. There are two Garwood family history on microfilm which can be had through L.D.S. #1036656 & 0873161. The first one deals with the Garwood family of Logan Co. Ohio only, and missing in this family history are the birth dates of many of the people listed and the location of their births. Very little of this family history has been transfer to this text. The last work by Homer Baldwin, James D. Arvin & Helen L. Garwood, has information about the first three generations of the Garwood family, which I used. Almost the entire book covers the blood line of John Garwood #5, the brother of my Garwood ancestor, Thomas Garwood #6. Their work had the names of Thomas Garwood's children only. This work like the other family history does not give locations of birth, so information after the fourth generation was not transferred to this work. Like the Antrim, Foster, Haines, etc...., the reader should consult the works of William Wade Hinshaw & William Nelson for information dealing with the Garwood family of New Jersey. Hopewell Friends History has information about the Garwood Family of Virginia. The objective of this study is to link the New Jersey Garwoods to the ones who settled in Virginia and to link them down to my son's generation. Issue: Garwood
