DAVID H. CLEVENGER

David H. "Buck" Clevenger, 86, of South Buckton Road, Middletown, died Wednesday at Winchester Medical Center.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Strasburg by the Rev. James Baseler. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Mr. Clevenger was born May 4, 1918, in Baltimore, son of David H. Clevenger and Ethel Haymaker Clevenger O'Leary. He served in the National Guard and was a supervisor at Abex, retiring after 34 years. He was the husband of the late Stella "Bunny" White Clevenger.

Surviving are his wife, Margie W. Carroll Clevenger; a daughter, Carol Clevenger Kula of Stephens City; two stepdaughters, Teresa C. Davis of Middletown and Joan R. Carroll of Stephens City; a stepson, Michael R. Carroll of Augusta, W.Va.; eight stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ray Cross, Ray Patterson, Tim Patterson, Floyd Ryman, Donald Braithwaite and Richard Cooley.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
