Here's an obituary of a McKay cousin that appeared in The Winchester Star on Monday October 27, 2003. I don't believe I've met him personally but I recognize the line.

(P.S. Since this is an image of the paid obituary that appeared in The Winchester Star, the picture is rather fuzzy. I'll probably transcribe it at a later date and then decide on what to do with the photograph.)

I would be interested to know if you transcribed the obituaty for Robert Miller Jett. I would like to know if he left any descendants. He descends from Joseph Miller and Mary Rust, as I do.

Unfortunately I haven't transcribed it as of yet. I have it in the newspaper it appeared in. Winchester Star had a problem with their website some years ago and all the previous articles were lost. I should have saved that one to a disk or something. I make a habit now to transcribe all family related obituaries I find and add them to this forum. Any photos that accompany them are saved on my Photobucket account so they will be displayed as well.
