Strathnaver Museum (https://www.strathnavermuseum.org.uk/) home to the Clan Mackay Centre have launched a Crowd Funder to save their historic building and the collection it contains. This former church was where eviction notices were read to the congregation and later where the Napier Commission heard evidence from the crofters, which led to security of tenure for them.
They are offering some great rewards from money off in their shop, private tours and the chance to have your name inscribed in the refurbished museum!
