Hi Michael

I've received several messages in the last week from Photobucket.com saying that images in a Photobucket storage account can no longer be linked to a 3rd party host (forum), unless the account is upgraded to the "Plus500" plan which costs $40/mo. or $400/yr. Is there a way around this new Photobucket policy or will images no longer be able to be posted to the forum without the upgraded plan?

I haven't seen that message but if it's true and they are going to play that way, I suggest using Google Photos. They give options for sharing.

I checked some of my posts on the forum that I used an image from Photobucket and so far they are still working, but if they do inact such a policy then switching to a different sharing provider is much better than paying such a hefty fee.

I just noticed the same problem with displaying images. I downloaded all of mine to my phone so I can store them somewhere else.

If you are ok with spending $400 a year on Photobucket then go ahead. Otherwise you will have to find another place to store your photos.
