Not a big surprised lots of trees with Wm. Cooke married to Elizabeth Fox, none of the information is reasonable when matched with known original records.
We are looking for a male Cooke born c1600 I know of two other males the same generation as our Wm. Cooke, both members of Quaker Meeting House in Dublin.
1. John Cooke b. 1627 married Joan..........? both death dates reported in Quaker records know of a son John and daughter Joan born 1658 married 1686 Dublin, Ireland to George Rooke late of Cumberland, England. 17 trees have this couple as their ancestors.
2. Thomas Cooke b. 1630 married 29 Sep 1661 to Joan Harwood we have the names of their children. He could be the same Thomas Cooke who witnessed wills 1686 and 1706.
3. Wm. Cooke b. 1637 died c1684 Atlantic Ocean (per Hollingsworth's Histories) m. in Ireland c1660 Elizabeth Fox. We know she married second in Darby, Delaware Co. PA 12 Oct 1688 to Nathaniel Parke he of Concord Meeting. She dies 1735 Delaware Co. PA. She and her children named in brother Thomas Fox's will and in her husband will.
Now when people have on their trees Elizabeth's mother died in MA shortly after giving birth to her daughter in PA, someone is not reading their own copy.
Wish the information was correct, but I afraid it is not. The blood lines posted for Wm. Cooke and Elizabeth Fox most likely made up.
