It appears my grandparents may be distant cousins through the Schooley family.

On this link in the family tree chart I'm building has my grandmother's Schooley ancestry back to Samuel & Sarah.

http://www.robertmackayclan.com/lines/f ... moore.html

I know the Schooley name is on Granddad's side as well and I found a couple of websites that traced the name back to two brothers which one leads to him and one leads to her.

Eventually I'll get more info. but I just wanted to post this. I haven't gotten the Schooley info. on Granddad's side added to the records yet either.

I have a number of DNA Matches with other Schooley Researchers. Researcher "mattewhill83" tree Our Family Tree their line from Robert Schooley and Sarah Bingham to son Robert and wife Katherine.......? their son Samuel Schooley married Sarah Mary Abertson they had a daughter named Phoebe Schooley born 1737 NJ died 1761 Fairfax Co. VA.

They have some mistakes on their tree, like not filling in correctly the parentage of Sarah M. Abertson.

Our line going down to Elizabeth Wrights comes from Robert's son John.

You should be able to find records for this family among Quaker Meeting House Records.

A researcher I have met at my new L.D.S. center in Auburn name of John Peek (Y marker test and Family Finder), has Schooley (sic) ancestry. It will be interesting if he turns up as a match.

If you have ancestry tree my DNA profile and all my matches can be view. I think I have more Quaker DNA matches with Ancestry than Family Tree DNA. People need to post their tree on Family DNA so we all can figure out our matches. That is the point of doing these test.
