Ancestry DNA Project researcher "BT" (tree Bridges Family Tree) could have five DNA links with my families:
1. Bridges looking for the parentage of James Bridges born 1721 VA died 1791 NC married to Rebecca Nancy Hamrick. He was the same generation as my Wm. Bridges b. 1727 VA died 1792 VA married Amy Baynes. He was the only son of Wm. Bridges who died Pr.Wm. Co. VA 1744. I have a copy of his will only had Wm. and daughter Mary. Other researchers have tried to add additional children. His line could be linked to another member of Wm. Bridges who died 1744 and researchers have not researched the proper line.
2. Duke--descend of Henry Duke & Elizabeth Taylor through son John Taylor Duke. I descend from their other son Wm. This DNA evidence goes down to my ancestress Priscilla Duke who married Ephraim Carrington.
3. Antrim--descend of Thomas Antrim & Jane Batter through son James Antrim husband of Mary Hance. I descend through their son John. This DNA evidence once again supports my line through Elizabeth Antrim wife of Jacob McKay. Their son Thomas Buck McKay to Charles Edward McKay (my great-grandfather).
4. Garwood--descend of Wm. Garwood & Annie Rowe through son Thomas who I descend, but rest of chart given as "private". My Garwood goes into Haines which goes into the female side of above Elizabeth Antrim.
Now if this sample was on Family Tree DNA I would think separate bits of DNA would show up on the various chromosome.
Researcher "R.R." tree Ridgway Family tree, we have four lines in common.
HAINES: looking for the parentage of Lydia Haines who married Thomas Hollinshead. Sure we both descend from Richard Haines the emigrate.
WRIGHT: we both descend from Joshua Wright and Elizabeth Empson he through son Joshua and I through son John.
LIPPINCOTT: his line Judith Lippincott who married Joseph Stokes. She was the daughter of Freedom who was the son of Richard Lippincott the emigrate.
STOKES: I believe his John Stokes born 1682 could be brother of my John Stokes born 1675 in England.

Researcher "raylenemallon61" descend from Thomas Poindexter (1675-1710) I descend from another child of the emigrate George.
Descends from the emigrate Louis Dubois through another son Louis. I have a double line from his two sons: Abraham and Solomon.
Descends from Ann Rust (1727-1754) who married Philip V. Vass, daughter of Benj., son of Samuel Rust. I descend from another one of his children.
Since Ancestry Family Finder does not have a Chromosome Browser I can not see the three different pieces of DNA. Shame. On paper we share these three different men.

If Ancestry Family Finder had Chromosome Browser I could figure out if these nine surnames were in fact the same families. Researcher "SMH" known Antrim cousin we both descend from John & Frances (Butcher) Antrim he through son John and I through son Thomas.
He a descend of Minerva DuBois born 1861 TN married to George W. Compton. Could be the same group of DuBois, I do not known. If his Compton related to our McKay again I do not known.
He a descend of a Hunt family in NC I do not known if his roots go back to our VA Hunt or not.
His Jones family of Wales to PA could be the same group as mine. My line of Jones goes into the line of Alice Malin who married Jesse Pugh and goes into the blood lines of George H. Sowers. It would be nice if my Sowers cousin could say if they also show a match with "SMH".
He descend of Jonathan Thatcher and he and others claim son of my Richard Thatcher. This blood line goes down into my Hopgood line.
His Ball I am rather sure different group of Ball of VA.
His Hampton ends in KY could be my group or could be the English group.
Has Moore of SC, which I am very interested. I am unable to get my Sarah Moore who dies in TN born in SC back to her roots.
His Rogers the same group as mine. This line goes into the blood line which made up George H. Sowers. Jane Ann Rogers married Thomas Pugh their son Jesse' daughter married Alice Pugh who married John McKay, their daughter Elizabeth McKay married Wm. Jenkins. My Sowers cousin who have DNA on Ancestry should also be showing a match with him.

Ancestry Family Finder researcher "pattipcalhoun" tree called Patti Sue Pruett Family Tree descend of couple Frances Mitchell Sowers (1840-1918) married John G. Morgan (1837-1882). On her tree does not extend these two lines.
Francis Mitchell Sowers was the daughter of George Kerfoot Sowers and Frances E. Mitchell. His line I share the Sowers and Kerfoot. Frances E. Mitchell child of my Wm. Mitchell and Matilda Johnston.
I hope she might have evidence of the various male and female DNA markers associated with these families.

Researcher "David Waring" descend of Thomas & Elizabeth (Day) through son David who married Mary Bullock their son David who married Elizabeth Evans
Ancestry Family Finder researcher "MicheleShipmankrohn" tree called Shipman_Hill Family. Our common ancestor Thomas Branson and wife Elizabeth Day. She through son John Branson who married Isabella Shinn. I through son Lionel Branson (twice). She like so many on Ancestry have Thomas' two sons as one John Day Branson. He had TWO sons one named John and the other Day Branson.
I am running into John Branson selling and buying land on early Orange Co. VA records.
We are also sharing common ancestor Daniel Shipman, but her line not linked to him. I believe her line from his son Edward.

Ancestry Family Finder DNA Project researcher "A.B." tree called Ball_S Matching Tree, our "Green Leaf" match shows as Wm. Sowers and Catherine Jenkins. My line through George H. Sowers and her through daughter Lucy Virginia Sowers.
Since she has the wrong parentage for said Catherine Jenkins, she does not know we are also descend of John McKay, son of Robert Jr.
She also the the wrong parentage for our Jenkins line. And she does not the the correct ancestors for Daniel Sowers' wife Catherine CRUM.
Our common ancestor on Hampton through emigrate John Hampton Scottish Quaker, I descend through son Noah Hampton and she through son John Hampton. His daughter Isabella Hampton married Wm. Johnson was ancestors of her Carter Shepherd.
On the line researchers are mixing together two Andrew Hampton. The one who died in Rutherford Co. NC left land deed records in this location. I will be posting each to my Ancestry account. This is not my Andrew Hampton line (son of Noah) he died in GA. I have already posted entries for him in Brunswick and will in Granville Co. NC.
People have mixed together to two different Hampton Families of early VA and early NJ as one family.
I am running across another John Hampton of early Somerset Co. MD and I do not know who he might be. Could be entirely different family. My line of Hampton still in NJ 1680's.

At the moment John Hampton and his wife Mary were filing law suits in Somerset Co. MD court under L.D.S. 14364. If the information on Ancestry Tree is correct this John Hampton (Rev.) born 1674 in Scotland and died 1722 Somerset Co. MD. His wife was a Mary King (daughter of Robert) she had two earlier husbands: Francis Jenkins and John Henry. Only one son with one of the earlier marriages.
I do not think she had issue with John Hampton. No Y marker kit has been filed for this group of Hamptons.
I believe male members of Robert King's family removed down to NC. Not related to my Rev. John King of England and NC. I am looking for a second King line that married into Morris Family of Orange Co. NC.
