Hope you will mention the "Free" DNA that I have offer to any of our male McKay men.

Or perhaps you can mention the offer to our cousins in OH.

All would be very helpful to future McKay Researchers.

Keep up all your good work.

That would depend on how many people are actually attending. Attendance isn't like it used to be a long time ago. Probably have more luck announcing it through Newsletter and website but I'll make sure to mention it.

I'll also try to mention it at the Collett-McKay Picnic in August where we do have an average of around 200 people attending annually. I'll need some kind of written document to put out on the genealogy table there to explain it totally. Only have a brief period before we begin eating for announcements. After that the afternoon belongs to everyone.

I've made the decision to suspend hosting any future gatherings of the Robert McKay Clan Reunion in Virginia due to extremely low attendance figures. The numbers have been sharply declining over the past few years.

This will not affect this website or newsletter as they operate outside of the reunion which is simply an event.

We continue to promote our other major gathering, The Collett-McKay Picnic held annually on the 2nd Saturday in August.

If anyone would like to try to host a future gathering for the McKays in Virginia and can guarantee at least 40 persons please contact me and I will assist you in any way I can with this website and newsletter.
