Two researchers Scott Hopkins & AAAW descend from the same Wright family as Elizabeth Wright who married Jacob McKay Jr. So three people have DNA samples on file with Ancestry who descend from Robert Wright (1604-1651) & wife Alice Lawtie.

However researcher AAAW and I also share Kittrell ancestry.

And researcher Scott Hopkins and I share the same Lippincott and Vernon ancestry.

So in the end I am still searching for one of the other children of Joseph Wright & Rebecca Scholey who have turned in a sample.

Researcher "T.D." tree Thomas/Carr/Cuberson/Dodrey descend of Silas Crispin (1655-1711) with his wife Hester Holmes through daughter Eleanor. I descend from said Silas with his wife Mary Stockton.

This bit of DNA starts with Silas Crispin through daughter Abigail Crispin to her son Joseph Wright to his daughter Elizabeth Wright who married Jacob McKay Jr.

"Monidcivitano & cdrum66 both are descends of John Garwood, so are also descends of Wm. Matlack.

Researcher ChrisGann94 also descends from Wm. Matlack & wife Mary Hancock, but from another child John, we and the above 2 other researchers from daughter Sarah.

Family Finder kit "GailMBuck" her tree called "Buck Family Tree" descend of Wm. through his son John. Her Bush and Stokes not the same as mine. She is a descend of Joseph Bridger of early New Kent Co. VA which researcher have mixed up with my Wm. Bridges as the same family.

She does have Scottish lines back in Scotland long after my had left for US.

So I think the DNA match is with just Matlack.

Ancestry Family Finder researcher "J.C." tree called Kith-n-kin-of the Chrisman & Sellers Family descend from Robert's daughter Hannah MacKay through her son Abraham.

Ancestry Family Finder "juneooghe" family called June Walker Ooghe Family descend of Hannah Mackay and George Hollingsworth.

With the new formatting being done on Ancestry with our trees, they are adding general historical pictures and facts according to lifetime of each of our ancestor. If the researcher has the correct information when the added GRAPHICS makes for a pretty picture.

However, with our Mackay cousins who insist to claim Robert's father as Hugh of Scotland. Now the blood line has pictures of Scotland. A place there is no evidence our Robert never lived.

And Anne Brown as the daughter of James Brown of Cecil Co. MD (location where she never lived) and all those pictures of MD do not apply to our Anne Brown.

All the pictures attached to these two people are wrong and misleading. It helps to cover up the incorrect material. People just look at the pretty GRAPHICS.

She also has Bridgers of VA to GA they have their own Y marker study and I do not think related to my Bridges. So the DNA we share most likely MacKay.

If you have a tree on Ancestry and you have not personally researched each branch of your tree, then delete those entries. Unless you like having "Lipstick On A Pig."

Found on Family Tree DNA researcher Kenneth Edward Trevathan Hits on #6 15.7. His line from John Hollingsworth born 1788 in VA died 1852 TN married Elizabeth Ramsey. His tree on line through Family Tree DNA. His record does not give parentage back to George Hollingsworth and Hannah Mackay.

So I have now found four matches with this line from Robert Sr. through daughter Hannah.

at the time of this posting that I also share Hollingsworth ancestry coming down through my mother's side of my tree. Mackay on my father's side.

Ancestry Family Finder researcher "J.C." tree called Kith-n-kin-of the Chrisman & Sellers Family descend from Robert's daughter Hannah MacKay through her son Abraham.

I have eight kits that researchers descend from Hannah Mackay and her husband George Hollingsworth. Which means I am a double cousin with these people one line on my father's side and the other on my mother's side.

But I do not have a way to measure if both are showing up as a match.
