There are plenty of sources primary & secondary dealing with the families of Bradshaw, Penn, Crispin, Schooley & Wright. I have many Autosomal test filed with Ancestry DNA data bank to support my line from said Lawrence Bradshaw. Might be additional kits filed with Family Tree DNA. My line from:

1. Lawrence Bradshaw of Hope, Ecces, Lancashire England son

2. Ralph Bradshaw (1611-1667) there are six researchers kits supporting this line m. Rachel Penn (daughter of Giles Penn & Joan Gilbert there are six kits supporting this line.

3. Rebecca Bradshaw died c1660 Kinsale, England m. Wm. Crispin there are eight kits filed by researchers on Crispin line

4. Silas Crispin (c1655-1771) born in London, England, died 1711 in Philadelphia, PA m. Mary Stockton. I have two kits supporting Mary Stockton line from Richard Stockton. You will find a great deal of information about this couple in books and on line. And I have two lines from Richard Stockton.

5. Abigail Crispin (1701- ) m. John Wright, there are 9 pages of Wright entries to read.

6. Joseph Wright (c1729-c1789) m. Rebecca Schooley her line is supported by 10 kits filed by other Schooley researchers and 4 additional kits dealing with her Horseman line. The names with birth dates of their children recorded in Quaker records. The time the above families spend in PA/NJ all is recorded in Quaker records and civil records.

7. Elizabeth Wright (1767-1785) her birth date recorded among Quaker Records in Monmouth Co. NJ, reference to her death in Quaker records "Jacob McKay buried his wife Elizabeth". About a week after the birth of Jacob McKay III. The rest of her family I believe moved into OH or IN. Still seeking them.

8. Jacob McKay (1785-1852) he is the oldest known marked grave of my MacKay line, found on "Fine a Grave" m. Elizsbeth Antrim and I have sdditional Antrim, Borden, Garwood & Haines DNA Autosomal evidence. We have a Y marker project on line for the male McKay. There at least 10 Autosomal Kits filed with Ancestry DNA by researchers who's line comes from Robert Mackay Sr. and additional ones filed with Family Tree DNA.

9. Thomas Buck McKay (1831-1911) m-1 Ann Elizabeth Lehew, their graves found on "Fine a Grave". I have supporting Autosomal evidence dealing with Lehew, Branson & Dubois families.

10. Charles E. McKay (1857-1932) m. Etta Double Sowers I have Autosomal evidence supporting her blood line: Sowers, Crum, Kerfoot, Hunt, Johnston, Reynolds, Poindexter, Cary?, Johnston, Reynolds, Barber, Nash, Glascock, Etherdge & Robinson.

11. Daisy Love McKay (1899-1986) m. Walter Eugene Shipp

12. Ralph Earl Shipp m. Patsy Dee Hopgood

13. Dee Ann Shipp m. Irvin P. Buck Jr., all these 100's of test kits coming down to me and showing share DNA with another person, each of us supporting the blood line of the other.

One draw back with Ancestry DNA verse Family Tree DNA, Ancestry does not have a Chromosome Brower. So I can't tell if a cousin is a double cousin or not.

All these programs tell you is that another researcher shares DNA with you. You have to figure out which one of your blood line you have in common with others. On Ancestry you can't see if said individual matches you once, twice, three, four etc....

Of couse, people are placing on their DNA profile the wrong line of decend, which can cause a problem if you not aware.
Found in Ancestry DNA Project researcher "1_debbie18" descend of Benj. Borden & Abigail Grover through their daughter Sarah Bowdoin Borden born 1669 Boston, MA died 1759 NH married to Benj. Towle.

My line comes through another daughter Amy Borden who married Josiah Foster, their son Wm. Foster married Hannah Core, their daughter Elizabeth Foster married John Antrim.

...........................

Researcher Jane B. 14434 has Borden line needs library work

Joseph Borden born 1734 died 1803 married Jane Warren their daughter Mary Borden born 1767 NC died 1846 GA married Wm. Saunders.

James Verinon & his wife Hester Brown had three sons: Robert, Randall & Thomas

Researcher Scott Allen Hopkins and I decend from a different brother, he from Robert and I from Thomas Vernon.

Since we also share Lippincott and Wright ancestors, I can not really confirm by link from Thomas to Elizabeth Vernon who married Andrew Jobe. Their daughter Patience Jobe married Robert Mackay Jr.

He placed on Ancestry Tree the Vernon blood line back nine more generations into 1400's and one of the female lines DePype back 1260's.

Thirteen other researchers have also posted the same information, however I suspect they just copied the same information.

I recall a history TV program showing a castle in connection with Manners Family and there was with that family the Vernons.

Some researchers have recorded a connection with Vernons with George Washington, but I do not know if true or not.
Ancestry DNA Project has two Vernon researchers who share DNA with me. Both descend from James Vernon's son Robert Vernon & his wife Elinor Minshall.

"Judi695" descend from son Thomas Vernon (1686-1758) married Mary Brown.

"Denise Leake" descend from son Isaac Vernon (1682-1757) married Hannah Williams

We have the profile of Robert Mackay Sr.'s D.N.A.

A real long shot would be if we would find test subjects who have in their female line the D.N.A. of Robert's wife Ann Brown. The only two daughters who had females:

Ann Brown's daughter: Hannah (McKay) HOLLINGSWORTH her daughter Ann Hollingsworth m. Elias BROCK their one daughter Elizabeth BROCK born c1760 I believe lived in the SC. It could be she died without having a daughter. Researcher Algura B. Hedgpeth supplied what little I known about this family. I have lost touch with her.

Ann Brown's daughter: Leah (McKay) married twice last marriage with Jeremiah Odell produced daughter Leah Odell who married ........Whitson, her daughter Margaret Whitson born c1780 VA married 1803 in Shenandoah Co. VA to Wm. Jordan.

My oldest female line Elizabeth BROWN born 1780 Orange Co. NC died in Henderson Co. TN. About the same generation of the above two blood lines. I see no way related to Ann's family of Brown. I have not found the Brown Project Page of Family Tree D.N.A. helpful.

It could be Ann Brown's line is in the bank and we just don't known about it.
At the moment I can not find other links to the following Scottish Brown samples. All found Ancestry DNA Site.

Found in Dodson books the idea that our Scottish Ancestors did not like living in MA due to their religious rules.

"jquidnunc1" line of John Brown born 1684 Priesthill, Ayshire, England died 1740 Lancaster Co. PA now Dauphin, PA married Frances McClellan born 1688 died 1741. Their son Matthew Brown born 1732 PA & died 1777 in PA.

"Richardg47" line of Wm. Brown born 1687 Londonderry, Ulster, Ireland died 1757 Rowan Co. NC.

"dnnbh" line of Elspit Brown born 4 May 1701 Lasswade, Midlothian Scotland married Wm. Hislop born 1695. This line stayed in Scotland.

"J.R.H." line of John Brown born 1725 Scotland died 1780 in Culpeper Co. VA married Elizabeth Mercer. Their daughter Elizabeth Brown born 1747 Nottingham, Chester Co. PA, died 1833 Morgantown, VA/WV.

"cgrcelt85" line of Robert Brown born 1788 Carrington, Midothian, Scotland, died the same, wife Margaret Penny, their daughter Agnes Brown born 1815 and died 1890 same location.

"J.S." line of Margaret Brown born 26 Nov 1806 Kincraig, Angus, Scotland, died 4 Mar 1888 Ferryden, Angus, Scotland married Wm. Pert. Couple stayed in Scotland

"Ksportski1_1" line of Margaret Brown born 1811 Carnwath, Lanarkshire, Scotland died 1872 Midlothian, Scotland married Wm. Ritchie born 1813 died 1872.

"msim249193" line of Mary Brown born c1813 Largs, Ayshire, Scotland died 1849 same location, married Archibald Jack born 1807 died 1876 same location.

Ancestry DNA site does not have Chromosome Browser so I do not know how much DNA material I share with the above researcher. I would think a very small amount.

I have not really figured out how to see all the surnames listed in their group of names. I have seen some of their Haplogroup listing for some of the names. Your Hollingsworth found among their listing.

Surnames associated with Elizabeth Wright: Wright, Scholey, Taylor & Horseman (Susannah Horseman's Haplogroup would be Elizabeth's oldest female ancestor) could yield the information I seek.

My end game, is to isolate the openning in my pedigree chart that could contain Native American Ancestry. I really dislike people claiming to have ancestry in their background without any evidence and to claim descend from "famous persons" just because the share the same surname. D.N.A. could put closure to both cases.
Found Ancestry DNA site sample given by "rrogers907" we are both descends of Samuel Taylor & Susannah Horseman, she daughter of Marmduke & Frances Horseman. His line from their son John and our from Frances Taylor who married John Scholey their daughter Rebecca Scholey who married Joseph Wright. Their daughter Elizabeth Wright married Jacob McKay Jr.

Found Ancestry DNA site researcher "jjcondit1" and I share a bit of DNA.

His line Mary Stockton married first Thomas Shinn, he through son Samuel Shinn born 1695.

My line through second marriage with Silas Crispin through daugther Abigail Crispin who married John Wright those son Joseph Wright married Rebecca Scholey, their daughter Elizabeth Wright who married Jacob McKay II.

So this researcher taking the time to turn in his DNA and making it public, allows us to confirm the marriage of our Jacob McKay to Elizabeth Wright.

Found on Ancestry DNA researcher "judyhagler2010" descend from Hannah McKay who married George Hollingsworth.

She did not have the parentage of Hannah listed, but she might just not have typed that part in her chart.

In any case, we have another daughter of Robert in the "Gene Pool". I sure, Michael, you will find lots of Hollingsworth in Ancestry.

According to Ancestry DNA Project researcher "C.C" is a descend of John Garwood (1740-1819) he through son Thomas Garwood (1778-1837 IL) through son Charles Garwood (1814-1848).

I descend from said John Garwood's daughter Sarah Garwood who married into Antrim Family.

He is also descend of Sarah DuBois (1662-1726) wife of Joost Jan Van Meter.
Ancestry DNA project researcher "Laura Loney" is a descend of Thomas Garwood & wife Margaret Hancock through son Thomas. I descend from their son John, we are 8th cousins.

If you have Quaker ancestors you will have no problem finding matches in Ancestry.

Believe the same family, but the researcher needs to go far two more generations.

Found Ancestry DNA Project researcher "A.L.P." descend of Samuel Taylor (1663-1723) wife Susanna Horseman their son Samuel Taylor (1692-1767) wife Anne Folkes. their son John Taylor (11722-1785) wife Sarah Quicksall.

My line from Samuel Sr. through Frances Taylor who married John Scholey. Their daughter Rebecca Scholey married Joseph Wright, their daughter Elizabeth Wright married Jacob McKay Jr. So this is another DNA match which confirms my "Three Jacob McKay Line".

She has another line I would like to confirm as being the same Malin in my line.

She is looking for the parentage of Wm. Malin (1667 Chester, England-1696 PA) married to Ann Laxford. Their daughter married Ann Malin born 1695 PA married Thomas Williamson.

My line of Malin: Randal Malin born in same location Chester, England died same location Chester Co. PA & wife Elizabeth. Their son Isaac born 1681 Chester Co. PA wife Elizabeth Jones. Their daughter Alice Malin married Jesse Pugh. It is their daughter Alice Pugh who married John McKay. This is my second McKay line. Their daughter Elizabeth McKay born 1780 VA married Wm. Jenkins.

I have other DNA matches with other Malin, Pugh & McKay, but looking for more among the various family groups back to the emigrate.
