Found Ancestry DNA Project sample supply by "Charlesfield10" descend of John Jack Bowling born 1790 Greenbrier VA/WV died 1874 Clay, KY married to Sally.......? born 1801-1853.
He does not give parentage for his line. Other Ancestry Tree supplied the information to link his line with mine.
If researchers would just look at the Family Tree DNA Project Bolling, his line from Benj. Bowling (Group 3) at least 14 Y marker test clearly show this group of Bowling/ Boling etc....no WAY related to the family of Col. Robert Bolling of early VA.
His line Benj. Boling (1734-1832) m. Martha Phelps their son
Wm. Bowling (1755-1830) m. Sarah Fugate son
John Jack Bowling.
His Benjamin brother to my John Bowling (c1730 MD) married to Elizabeth.........?
There is plenty of DNA evidence supporting various lines of this group of Bowling.
Researcher "davidlindataylor" descend of James Bowling b. 1756 died 1804 wife Sarah Blevins. He was the son of Benj. Bowling. Wish researchers would take the information on board posted for the public to read. Many male descends of this Benj. Bowling have spend their time and monies establishing that our group of Bowling not related to Col. Robert Bolling. Wish researcher will start using their delete key on their computer and stop passing around wrong information.
This researcher also shares Rucker ancestry through Ambrose. Could be distant Edwards and Arrington cousin. Sure he is a descend of Dr. Rowland Taylor.
He has surname on his chart and I know not same families: Bush, Howard, Osborne, Jones, Shipp and Turner.

Ancestry as 10 Autosomal DNA samples on file with all confirming their line back to and we descend from different children of said couple Peter & Elizabeth (Fielding) Rucker. I do not believe I have other lines in common with them.
1. Peter Rucker (c1669 Bavaria, Germany-1743 Orange Co. VA) married Elizabeth Fielding.
2. Ann Rucker born c1712 Orange Co. VA m. Shem Cooke
3. Isham Cooke married Ann.........?
4. Nancy Cooke born 1780 NC, d. c1859 Carroll Co. TN married Lemuel Rust. Same Rust family that intermarried with "our" McKay. I have Autosomal matche with a researcher from the VA branch of the family.
5. Dawsey Rust born 1805 Orange Co. NC d. c1850 Carroll Co. TN marired Noah Hampton. His family as several Autosomal Matches on file with Ancestry DNA and Family Tree DNA.
6. Winnie Ridley Hampton b. Apr 1830, d. 19 Jan 1901 Yuma, Carroll Co. TN married first Wm. Presley King. Believe her grave marker can be found on "Fine a Grave".
7. Hansford Duncan King b. 23 Mar 1857, d. 5 May 1927 Yuma, Carroll Co. TN married Fredonia Jane Derryberry. I have Autosomal match with another descend of his grandfather Thomas King. I have several Autosomal matches for Fredonia J. Derryberry's Shipman cousin, but none with Derryberry.
8. Joseph Hulon King b. 21 Jul 1883 Yuma, Carroll Co. TN, d. 23 Jan 1963 Alton, Madison Co. Il married Dessie Green Bolen. I have found many Autosomal Matches for her Bolen, Mangum, Carrington, Cozart (double line), Melton, Fortune, Duke & Reeves. Morris a Y marker and my DNA marker for her Brown ancestry.
Joseph --my great-grandfather down three more generations. I am 11 generation from said Peter Rucker.
Researcher "H.N" tree Nethery Family Tree descend from Peter Rucker's sister Mary Mollie who was the daughter of Ambrose Rucker and Mary Tinsley.
The Rucker Family has been well documented on paper and DNA matches. Now I have to do the same for Shem Cooke who married Ann Rucker, daughter of Peter.
These bits of DNA travel down to my great-grandfather Joseph H. King.

Found Family Tree DNA Lesie Paul Elder is a 8th Gist Cousin. He descends from Christopher Gist to only son Richard Gist to son Wm. Gist.
I descend from Richards' other son Joshua Gist removed down to NC then to TN.
Researcher "WJM" descend from Richard Gist and Zipporah Murry through daughter Edith. I descend from their son Nathaniel.
She also has Mary Pilcher born 1710 in Kent, England. I am very interested in this location for I have seen land deeds where people with surname Pilcher lived near Manor of Leeds where the nephew of Lord Fairfax lived. Is there a link I have no idea?
People in the 1950 published a book saying that three Pilcher brothers left Wales for VA. I believe DNA studies for the surname are showing that there were different families by the same name.
At this point I do not see that my Daniel Pilcher of Fauquier Co. VA was related to the ones who arrived from Wales.

Match between a researcher who's line from Bartholomew Thatcher born c1665 Uffington, Berkshire, England. I believe found on net this Thatcher family of England to NJ and all parts south & west.
I have not been able to document my line from Martha who married in Hopgood family.
I believe some of these people were Quaker, but I have no idea if at one time my Hopgood were also Quakers.
I have found major DNA matches with all the surnames in Martha Thatcher's chart: Thatcher, Godown, Trimmer, Dierdorff, Weitzel and Praul. This family was once Quaker, but I do not know if when Martha married Daniel Hopgood she was still member of Society of Friends. I see no records that Hopgood was once Quaker but who knows.
Thatcher family once lived in Uffington, Berkshire, England. Check "Fine a Grave" number of family members on sites cemeteries in England, NJ and PA. A branch of this NJ family did travel down to Hopewell Friends.

I do not know how researchers could so mess up my group of Morris living in Orange Co. NC with the surname found in other places in NC like Burke & McDowell.
Henry Morris who died in ORANGE CO. NC by 1801, had wife Frances and three sons
1. Henry Morris died before father, my line John & Isaac (no middle name)
2. Thomas Morris only had one son Thomas and daughters.
3. Richard Morris died before 1820 had the son Isaac who got in trouble with the law. He had three sons and three daughters.
I have send e-mail messages to my distant Morris cousin, no answer. I would like to rule out the Isaac Morris who was whipped the reason for it.
We need more Y marker test done on the sons of Henry Morris: Henry (mine line), Thomas and Richard (father of Isaac who was whipped in 1820). In the hope of set the numbers associated with my group of Morris.
Y- Search has a wide range of samples, people from VA and NJ are the ones I am interested in the most. No matches found.
People have linked together on Ancestry Tree Morris families who never lived in my part of NC (Orange) and TN.

Researcher "jb" descend of Janet Bizet Hampton born 1668 Scotland died 1761 NJ married to Robert Rhea. I have not seen the documentation that she had a middle name. This researcher gives the name of John Hampton Sr.'s first wife as Jean Riggs (1647-1674). Could be true I could not find this marriage in the films I order from L.D.S. library Scottish Records.
As far as John Hampton Sr.'s father name only source secondary that his father was also named John. This researcher gives his name as John James Hampton born 1617 Scotland died 1720 Scotland married to Jenet.....? He the son of Wm. A. Hampton from England he the son of Laurence Hampton of Twickenham, Middlesex England. Could be true, but would like to see documentation.
