I have a match with another Melton researcher, I have three separate Melton lines back to emigrate Wm. Melton of early VA.
Ancestry DNA Project has researcher "G.M.H." descend of Wm. Melton & Lettice White through their son Reuben. I descend from their daughter Sarah Melton who married her cousin John Melton.
So this could explain our shared DNA, but I am more interested in her Edwards line.
She is a descend of Nancy Louise Edwards born 1760 died 1831 in King George Co. VA. Husband Joseph C. Pittman 1762-1835 same location.
She does not give her parentage as a number of trees on Ancestry.
I want to figure out if her line was a daughter of George Edwards whose will filed in King George Co. VA 1780, named wife as Mildred........? (1730-1780) named children: James, Jane, NANCY, Lucy, George, Winney, Ernold, Joseph Elizabeth & Susannah.
I have the ancestry of said George back to the same emigrate found in my line.
Still looking for a Edwards male to come forward with DNA information surrounding Y markers of Edwards in Wales & VA.
Is this line of Edwards found in early VA really descends of King Henry VIII ? DNA test could give us the answer.
Researcher "WRUMC" her tree Everett Norris she descend from Abner G. Melton and his wife Nancy Fortune through their eldest child Elmira. They also had sons: Adolphus (I do not think had issue) my line Cornelius, Robert V. & Ezekiel A. (named in law suit for child support).
We could have other researcher from this family group interested in DNA research.
Any case, if you think you are a member of this group of Melton we have the DNA Autosomal Samples on file in Family Tree DNA and Ancestry.
This bit of DNA part of the blood lines of my great-grandmother Dessie Green Bolen.

Found Ancestry DNA sample of "jsbristol" he descends from John Rust (1719-1811) son of John Rust & Agnes Clements. I descend from their son Samuel Rust.
So we have another link between the family in VA and NC/TN.
He has another surname in common with me Bowling, but I think a different group.
Researcher "EyerWeiler" descend of Samuel & Martha Rust through their son Jeremiah Rust. I descend from their son John.
This DNA material goes into my great-grandfather Joseph H. King. Links Rust Family of VA to our Rust Family of NC and TN.
I have no idea if Y marker samples have linked the VA Rust Family with the ones who settled in MA.

Found on Ancestry DNA project researcher "Glitter Crump" descend of Wm. Melton & wife Lettice White through their daughter Mildred Melton (1761-1820) married James Eubank, their son Thomas Melton Eubank.
I descend from said couple's daughter Sarah Melton who married her cousin John Melton.
A third DNA match from descend of their son Reuben, who has also send in his Y marker.
So from this couple we have three DNA matches, all coming down to the ancestry of Amanda E. Melton.
Researcher "GMH" descend of Wm.Melton and his wife Letitia White through their son Reuben who married Sarah Jones. Wm. and Letitia Melton had eight children: Reuben (have a kit), John, Sarah (mine line), Mildred (have a kit), Jesse (have a kit), Eli, Daniel and Mary.
I hope kits from the other children shall turn up in the future.
I have a triple line of this Melton Family.
This researcher also has a rather interesting Edwards line in King George Co. VA but others have not figure out her line. She is looking for the parentage of Nancy Louisa Edwards born 1760 died 1831 wife of Joseph C. Pitman.

I have four matches surrounding my double Richards line. I have various matches with members of Baylor family, which Frances Baylor was a member who married Humphreys Richards.
Ancestry DNA site "narykids12" this sample from researcher who descend from John Richards (1734-1785) born in King & Queen Co. VA died Stafford Co. VA. Wife Susannah Coleman. This line from their daughter Sarah Richards who married Lt. Walter Graham. This John was brother to my Humphrey Richards.
Farer down my Richards & Edwards line "cwingfielycatts" this researcher descend from another daughter of Maria Richards & Wm. Edwards.
Two samples with share DNA samples and I do not see other links with other families other than Richards. They do not have their lines back as far as I.
"L Besink" descend from Sarah Richards (1765- ) m. 1800 in Fredericksburg, VA to Wm. Smock. Their daughter Elizabeth Smock (1800-1850).
"Walter Shelton 48" descends from Lewis Richards (b. 1763 Culpeper Co. VA, d. 1846 Union Co. KY) m. Lucy V. Hunton.
I have finally finished going through my 120 pages found on Ancestry DNA. A large number of researchers keep their results "Private", so all of their information not used. I just hope they are not allowed to use others material. Then a large number of people do not fill in surnames so that a great amount of DNA material not used.
Hope new entries will turn up in future.
Researcher "BrendaC4" descend of John Baylor & Lucy Todd through their son John Baylor who married Frances Walker.
This bit of DNA material goes into the blood lines of my great-grandmother Lena (Ball) Shipp and she has a double line of Baylor.
This match help document her link to Humphrey Richards as being the father of her John Richards of Fauquier Co. VA.
I have found yesterday another Richards researcher looking for the parentage of Lewis Richards who was born in Culpeper Co. VA died Union Co. KY. I have send him a message to look for matches with these several other Baylor researchers to see if he also shares this DNA. I do not think his line comes from the other siblings of Humphrey Richards.

Found Ancestry DNA Project researcher "agapetonesuah" descend of Ezekiel Hampton (1738-1811) NC husband to Jane Griggs.
I believe he has the wrong line of descend for his Hampton should read:
1. John Hampton m. Janet.........? of Scotland his two sons: John & Andrew were the emigrates.
2. John Hampton m-2 Martha Brown, he should show matches with descendants of Nicholas Brown.
3. Noah Hampton m-1 Sarah.......? left a will in Hampshire Co. VA/WV 1775 had one son Andrew
4. Andrew Hampton m. Sarah.......? died c1780 Jefferson Co. GA.
5. Ezekiel Hampton m. Jane Griggs, he brother of my line from Zachariah. There are now two kits on this line.
He also a descend of Joshua Howard & wife Joannah O'Carroll.
Researcher "agapetnesuah" tree Rakes~Dixon descend of Ezekiel Hampton married to Jane Griggs, he has his parentage incorrectly posted. His line should read John Hampton the emigrate with his wife Martha Brown. He should show certain DNA with descends of Nicholas Brown of NJ. Their son named Noah Hampton had two wives the mother of his children Sarah...........? His will named three children and one Andrew Hampton who died in GA about 1780 we have the names of his children from land deeds and I have DNA matches with other descends.
The Andrew Hampton who died in Rutherford Co. NC did not have a son named Ezekiel. He was the one who was the son of Andrew Hampton who died in Cecil Co. MD and wife's first name Susannah..........?

Her father John Hampton had nine children: Janet (1 kit), Elizabeth, Lydia (2 kits), John (2 kits), David, Andrew (3 kits), Jonathan, Noah (4 kits) & Joseph.
I would like to find out more about David Hampton if he removed to present day WV.
Researcher "M.A.F" descend of Lydia Hampton who married Charles Gorden his will named his children. This researcher has her married to David Stewart who died in DE. I do not know he has the wrong line or not. In any case, we share DNA material.
He also is my distant Jett cousin through Peter Jett and Mary Triplett. Could have the wrong Hampton line and this is where the link.

From Ancestry DNA Project researcher "sharonelviraoh" descend of David Hampton born 1764 died 1842 KY married twice: Mary Johnson & Mary Nancy Bryan.
She has gotten hold of some old false information. I believe she wants to look at the following Hampton line.
1. John Hampton emigrate from Scotland
2. David Hampton born in Scotland died 1710 Monmouth Co. NJ married Mary.........? We know had two sons:
3. George Hampton born 1697 married Mary Hooten
or
3. David Hampton born 1700 married Mary Hutton removed to NC, named in will of Comins as son of David Hampton.
This researcher should check other DNA reports for Hooten, Hutton & Comins.
I am interested in the descends of this David Hampton, for I believe they could have had a link with my Branson Family of VA/WV.
Researcher "crogers1961" tree Rogers Family Tree, I believe the only place for his line would be part of the line of the family started by Andrew Hampton the emigrate. He being brother to my John Hampton. Only from secondary source their father name given as John Hampton.
I have the names of Andrew's children and some of his grandchildren. Searching for matches among some of female marrying into this line might give us answers.
